Excellent customer service. Helpful friendly staff. Best bank I have ever dealt with.
My account has been hacked 5 times within 17 months AND 4 times this year 2024 within the last 6 months! Pitiful. Poor security/firewalls. I had 11 charges from Pizza Hut on the SAME day in 4 states and NEVER received an alert from the bank! BTW I haven't been to a Pizza Hut in over 30 years! Changing banks immediately!
I think this bank has been hacked. my direct deposit is gone with no explanation and i cant get my money.
Went in to the South Park First Citizens Bank looking to possibly move money over from another bank. Talked to a woman at the teller line first. She acted like I was a bother to her when I asked to speak to someone. She rudely said someone will be with me soon. I jokingly asked if she's always so friendly and she rolled her eyes at me and literally threw something down on the counter and walked off. I couldn't believe how unprofessional she was. I almost left but then a woman came out to offer to help me. I followed her to her office and asked her the tellers name and she said Martha. She apologized for her behavior. So then I asked about personal and business accounts and she started going over the accounts. While I was with her, her cell phone was blowing up with text messages. She apologized again. Then she seemed confused about what we were talking about and at this point I just thought this is what I'd be dealing with if I decided to bank here. I saw her name plate and it was Shanna. I wasted 30 minutes of my life to only walk out shaking my head. Unprofessional.
By far the worst bank i have ever dealt with. By far the worst customer service. But beyond that there schemes of holding deposited funds well after they have cleared other banks is tantamount theft. Do not use this financial institution or better yet, house of cards. It's a theft ring at best. Stay away... Far far away.
A true "neighborhood" banking experience here at the Culver City Raintree Plaza. I always observe management and staff greeting their clients warmly and professionally on every visit. First Citizens Bank has all the services of a large modern banking system perfect for my company.as well as my personal banking needs. Highly Recommended - 5 Stars
Opened up my account several years ago and never regretted it. They were at the time locally owned which is why I chose them. Services are very good and while they don't offer everything, what they do offer is great. Their website has been improved to be more user friendly. The one downside still is the their "real" time deposit or external bill paying may take a few days. Which makes it a little hairy if you are trying to keep track of your balance. Other than that, a great bank for business or personal.
I have been a customer of First Citizens Bank since the 1970's and been an employee several times with 17 years of service. I called the telephone 888# because I saw items on my account that were not mine. I was told they had to discontinue my debit card and issue a new one which I would have in ten days. It has been 11 days. I got frustrated when trying to buy groceries with a check...CHECK DECLINED. (I had more than enough money in my account to cover that check) I still don't have my debit card, and had to go to the pharmacy...CHECK DECLINED... Again I had money to cover the check.....Made a stop into the bank to see what was going on...was told all is ok. Did not trust that answer... got CASH at teller window and went back to get groceries...calmed down enough to call telephone banking again... Got some idiot on the phone that sounded like he was at a carnival. I hung up....very unprofessional and I knew nothing would be corrected with him... just went to mailbox... NO DEBIT CARD!!! I am disabled and have been without access to my account for 12 days... This is insanity.
I'm a 3rd Shift Employee and I was called by a Ms. Parker at my Branch of First Citizens about an hour after I fell asleep. She was calling to do me a favor and not have 2 payments bounce, which I'm pretty sure that Banks don't normally call and warn people that they are about to Bounce 2 payments and charge me $36 each. She didn't have 10 seconds for me to get my checkbooks and 20 more seconds to pull up my Account online to see what she was referring to. I thought she hung up and my wife asked me what was going on and I said, I don't know exactly as she said she was doing me a GD Favor and didn't have time for me to see what she was in reference to. So, she got her feelings hurt and went to the Bank Manager who sent me a letter that they were going to Close my Business Account that I've had for more than 20 years! I'm not sure where this leaves me, as my Wife and I still have a Personal Account with them and are still doing Business with Credit Cards, Credit Lines, Mortgage Line of Credit. I'm sure that First Citizens would Frown on employees who call customers to warn them of upcoming charges and your account is short of Funds for 2 Charges. Anyways, I did figure out what she was calling me about later that day and I wrote the charges in the wrong checkbook. So, she woke me up but didn't have time to Help me, which I thought was pretty Rude. Why call at all? If you didn't have time to Help me and waking me up from a dead sleep. I'm hoping someone sees this and does the right thing here. She shouldn't have called me, if she didn't have time to Help me? She didn't hang up though, until she heard me talking to my Wife and saying GD. As I'm visiting my Branch, she hurried up to Help me, so she could tell me that First Citizens was and was not going to accept doing Business with me! Never have I tal;ked to Ms. Parker before. She has never Helped me before ever I've done Business with First Citizens longer than Ms. Parker has been alive and shouldn't have called me at all, then none of this could have happened. I would have just paid the $72 on moved on, It was my mistake. This is the 318 West Main Street Branch in Forest City, NC 28043.
After reading that the First Citizens and CIT had completely merged and both would have the same products and rates. Big mistake the Boca Raton branch which I drove to quoted me the CD rates at 0.75% less than the advertised rate of 4.00% advertised on CIT. I don't appreciate reading one thing on the two web sites and being quoted something else in person.
First Citizens Bank is stealing money from customer. I am an One West Bank customer and recently transferred to First Citizens Bank. Since their branch is far from my house, I wanted to close my account. They said that you can either going to the branch or you can do docusign, they can send you a check. I did the docusign since their branch is far away. They charge me $10 for doing that. And they never mentioned that they will charge a fee if you did not want to go to the branch. Thief. Don't go to them.
No telephone number? I'd give you a zero if you would let me. Tell Frank Holding his bank sucks and I'm changing banks. My family has banked with First Citizens for over 70 years. But I'm done with you. Finis. Hope you go bankrupt.
I've always had the best service and attention at this branch! I've been a FCB customer for over 40 years, always with good service. This branch, however, treats me like family and makes sure my needs are met with superior service. I recently called them with a potential issue and the manager immediately dealt with it to protect me.
My bank card has a small break in the corner. It still works but before it got worse and wouldn't work I took it to the branch and asked to order a new card. I went out of state for 2 months, got back and I still did not have a card in the mail. The branch told me it was never ordered. When ordering it again I was asked if I wanted to keep the old card and the number - I said yes. A few days later the card wouldn't work and online recurring payments tied to the card weren't working. The branch NOW tells me during the processing that I have to chose credit instead of debit and online payments will have to be re-entered with a new expiration date. I have several online payments tied to this card number - had I been told when applying for the card I would have to go through all this - I would not have got a new card. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND COSTING ME A LOT OF TIME AND WORK!!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!
Great and helpful staff.
Though I've moved back home to Florida, my Citizens First account is retained because I remember how everyone was curtious and professional. It's kind of sentimental. Though I have experienced less than a perfect situation this year, everything changes. My S.S. is still electronically deposited here. May we all have good fortune this year.
They offered me a great rate and BT rate and was very timely with getting the process done to their card. Also recommended some other services I maybe interested in for other investing or savings.
I am trying to reach assistance to set up online banking. I was helped by an agent last night but we were unable to do this. A technician was to call this AM. I have called 3 times and been able to get recordings and then hang ups, final call had phone picked up and then immediately hung up! I am trying to get a valid balance on my checking account...I am fearful I was charged twice when paying two bills.
Great staff!
