First Bank of Boaz is a financial institution located in Boaz, Alabama, established on January 1, 1906, under the original name The National Bank of Boaz. In June 1981, the bank changed its name to First Bank of Boaz and transitioned to a state charter, withdrawing from membership in the Federal Reserve System as part of this change. On the same date, it also shifted its chartering agency to the state level. Subsequently, the bank rejoined the Federal Reserve System on October 1, 1981.
