Field & Main Bank is a financial institution established on February 2, 1934, originally named Ohio Valley National Bank of Henderson. Over the decades, the bank underwent several name changes and structural changes, reflecting its evolving identity within the banking sector. On December 27, 2006, the bank changed its name to Ohio Valley Bank and simultaneously switched its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve, changing its bank class to a state-chartered bank, part of the Federal Reserve System. The institution's name was further modified to Ohio Valley Financial Group on January 1, 2008. In a significant development on January 24, 2015, Field & Main Bank acquired BankTrust Financial located in Henderson, Kentucky.
