Fidelity Savings and Loan Association of Bucks County was established in 1885. Over the years, the institution underwent several significant changes. On July 21, 2011, it changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). On March 1, 2014, Fidelity altered its organizational type to a mutual savings bank and its bank class to FDIC supervised state savings bank. Additionally, on July 1, 2010, the bank acquired Croydon Savings Bank located in Croydon, Pennsylvania. On May 1, 2020, Fidelity Savings and Loan Association of Bucks County merged with and became part of William Penn Bank, based in Levittown, Pennsylvania.
