History Of Fidelity Bank
Fidelity Bank is a financial institution that was established on January 1, 1908, originally named Fidelity Homestead Association. Over the years, the bank has undergone several transformations and name changes. In July 2007, it changed its name to Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank, and subsequently also changed its organization type to a Mutual Savings Bank and became federally regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). In December 2014, the institution adopted the name Fidelity Bank. Notably, in November 2007, Fidelity Bank expanded its operations by acquiring Your Bank located in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. The bank has also relocated its main office multiple times; it moved to 321 Saint Charles Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana, in February 2007, then to 1001 Julia Street in December 2018, and finally to its current location at 353 Carondelet Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, on November 2, 2020.
