Fidelity Bank

Fidelity Bank, originally established as Cambridge State Bank in 1927, underwent several name changes and relocations throughout its history. On January 2, 1985, the institution changed its name to First National Bank and became a member of the Federal Reserve System, with its main office located at 205 Water Street in Cambridge, Iowa. Following this, on April 21, 1986, the main office moved to 102 National Drive in Huxley, Iowa. In July 1992, the bank changed its name to First State Bank, withdrew from the Federal Reserve System, and changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The institution experienced another rebranding in October 2004 when it adopted the name Fidelity Bank. The main office relocated again to 177 South Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines, Iowa, first on February 1, 2005, and then on March 20, 2009. Most recently, on April 1, 2023, Fidelity Bank merged with Savanna-Thomson State Bank and officially changed its name to Fidelity Bank as part of this merger in Thomson, Illinois.
