FDS Bank, originally established as FDS National Bank on September 8, 1993, underwent several significant changes in its early years. On July 3, 2000, the institution changed its name to FDS Bank and transitioned both its organizational type and bank class to Stock Savings Bank and Federal Savings Bank, respectively. That same day, it also changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) and withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System. The main office of the bank was relocated to 9111 Duke Boulevard, Suite 100, Mason, Ohio, on September 22, 1994.
