In 1904, Farmers State Bank expanded its operations by changing its trust powers to full, a move that would be repeated in 1937 as part of its ongoing development. The main office was located at 412 Broad Street in Whittemore, Iowa, until December 30, 1989, when it was relocated to 220 East State Street in Algona, Iowa, on January 15, 1993. After a decade, the main office moved again to its current location at 501 East State Street in Algona on June 9, 2003.
