Farmers National Bank was established on November 3, 1923, originally under the name The Farmers National Bank of Scottsville. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes in its operational structure and location. On November 3, 1997, the main office was relocated to 107 North Court Street in Scottsville, Kentucky. This was followed by another move on July 25, 2011, when the main office was transferred to 1595 Veterans Memorial Highway, also in Scottsville, Kentucky. Ultimately, Farmers National Bank merged with FirstBank, based in Nashville, Tennessee, on February 14, 2020, and became part of that institution's operations.
