Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri is a financial institution that was originally established on June 1, 1901, under the name The First National Bank of Gallatin in Gallatin, Missouri. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes, including a relocation of its main office to 121 West Jackson Street in Gallatin on July 28, 1997. On December 4, 2000, the bank acquired Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, National Association in Centerville, Iowa, and subsequently changed its name to Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, National Association. That same day, the main office moved to 1604 Main Street in Unionville, Missouri. On June 24, 2011, the bank rebranded as Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri and transitioned to a state-chartered bank under the Federal Reserve System, changing its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve.
