History Of Far East National Bank
Far East National Bank was established on December 9, 1974, in Los Angeles, California. Initially serving the financial needs of the Asian American community, the bank expanded its services and operations over the years. On December 7, 1985, the main office was relocated to 123 South Figueroa Street in Los Angeles. Subsequently, the office moved again on May 16, 1994, to 350 South Grand Avenue in Los Angeles, and later on October 5, 2009, to 977 North Broadway in Los Angeles. After several decades of operation, Far East National Bank merged and became part of Cathay Bank on October 27, 2017.
