History Of Falcon International Bank
Falcon International Bank, originally established as Falcon National Bank on December 10, 1986, has undergone several significant changes throughout its history. On March 15, 1993, the bank's main office relocated to 5219 McPherson Road in Laredo, Texas. Following this, on February 11, 2000, the institution changed its name to Falcon International Bank and transitioned to a state-chartered bank that was a member of the Federal Reserve System. During the same date, the bank altered its primary federal regulatory agency designation from the Federal Reserve to a full trust powers status. Subsequently, on July 26, 2004, Falcon International Bank withdrew from the Federal Reserve System, reclassified as a state-chartered bank not part of the Federal Reserve System, and changed its primary regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
