History Of Exchange Bank of Northeast Missouri
The Exchange Bank of Northeast Missouri, originally established as the Winfield Banking Company on September 8, 1903, has undergone several changes throughout its history. The institution became a member of the Federal Reserve System on October 25, 1996, and subsequently changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve. On December 5, 1998, the bank changed its name to Exchange Bank of Northeast Missouri and relocated its main office to 249 North Morgan Street in Kahoka, Missouri. This location remained until June 30, 2003, when the main office was moved to a new site at the same address. The bank's main office was later moved again on April 20, 2015, to its current location at 268 North Johnson Street in Kahoka, Missouri.
