EverBank, National Association, is a commercial bank that has undergone several name and structural changes since its establishment on October 1, 1998, as First Alliance Bank. Initially focused on providing a range of banking services, the institution rebranded to EverBank on February 2, 2004. Over the years, EverBank expanded through acquisitions, including the purchase of Marine National Bank of Jacksonville in January 2001, and multiple branches of Bank of Florida in May 2010, as part of government-assisted mergers. In June 2017, it acquired TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB, and subsequently changed its name to TIAA, FSB. By September 2021, the bank's main office was relocated to 301 West Bay Street, Jacksonville, Florida. On July 31, 2023, EverBank became a member of the Federal Reserve System, changing its organization type to a commercial bank and its bank class to a national bank.

Horrible bank to deal with.
We wired funds a payoff for a Mortgage, they said it was never posted, and after 2.5 months later, money was finally recalled. We wired again, to the instructions they provided, and now TIAA is not posting the funds because more interest has been added. Over $415,000 is being held and not applied to the borrowers account.
