Evans Bank, National Association, is a financial institution based in Angola, New York, that has undergone several name changes and acquisitions since its establishment. Originally founded as The Evans National Bank of Angola in 1920, the bank changed its name to Evans National Bank in February 1995. The main office was relocated to 14-16 North Main Street in Angola in January 1989. In August 2008, the institution adopted its current name, Evans Bank, National Association. Subsequent significant events in its history include the acquisition of Waterford Village Bank in July 2009 as part of a government-assisted merger and the relocation of its main office to 8599 Erie Road in Angola in March 2013.
