History Of Eureka Bank
Eureka Bank was established in 1886 under the name Eureka Federal Savings and Loan Association. Over the years, it underwent several changes in organizational structure and name. On January 6, 1999, the institution changed its organization type to Stock Savings & Loan and its bank class to Federal & State Savings and Loans. Subsequently, on July 13, 1998, it adopted the name Eureka Bank. In 2011, it changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Eureka Bank was ultimately merged with Nextier Bank, National Association on January 8, 2016, becoming part of Nextier Bank's operations in Kittanning, Pennsylvania.
