Ericson State Bank was established on October 20, 1959, serving the community of Ericson, Nebraska. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes in its operational location; notably, on April 18, 1990, the main office was relocated to Main Street in Ericson. Subsequently, on March 31, 2006, the main office was again moved to 427 Central Avenue, Ericson, Nebraska. However, following financial difficulties, Ericson State Bank ultimately failed on February 14, 2020, and was merged with government financial assistance to stabilize its operations.
