Enterprise Bank

Enterprise Bank, established on January 7, 1905, originally operated under the name The Farmers and Merchants National Bank of Mart. In 1995, the bank changed its name to The Farmers and Merchants Bank and simultaneously transitioned its regulatory oversight to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the state level, withdrawing from membership in the Federal Reserve System. The institution adopted the name Enterprise Bank on June 2, 1998, and moved its main office to 1900 North Loop West in Houston, Texas, on March 2, 1998. Over the years, Enterprise Bank underwent several mergers and acquisitions, including the acquisition of Houston Commercial Bank on November 1, 2003, and Texas Premier Bank, National Association, on March 30, 2007. In a significant transition, the bank merged with Allegiance Bank Texas on January 1, 2015, subsequently adopting the Allegiance Bank name on August 10, 2015. Most recently, on February 18, 2023, the institution changed its name to Stellar Bank. The main office has been located at 7125 Gulf Freeway in Houston since March 31, 2006.
