History Of Enterprise Bank & Trust
Enterprise Bank & Trust is a banking institution established on May 9, 1988, originally under the name Enterprise Bank. The bank underwent significant changes over the years, including a change in trust powers to limited in October 1998. In September 2001, it acquired Enterprise Banking, National Association, located in Overland Park, Kansas, and subsequently changed its name to Enterprise Bank & Trust on January 22, 2004. The bank has since expanded its operations through various acquisitions, such as the purchase of Valley Capital Bank in Mesa, Arizona, in December 2009, and Legacy Bank in Scottsdale, Arizona, in January 2011, both achieved through government-assisted mergers. Notable acquisitions continued with the First National Bank of Olathe in August 2011 and Eagle Bank and Trust Company of Missouri in February 2017. The bank further expanded its footprint by acquiring Los Alamos National Bank in March 2019, Seacoast Commerce Bank in November 2020, and First Choice Bank in July 2021, at which time its main office was also relocated to 150 North Meramec in Clayton, Missouri.
