El Dorado Savings Bank is a financial institution established on January 1, 1956, originally named El Dorado Savings and Loan Association. The institution underwent several significant changes in its history, including a name change to El Dorado Savings Bank on April 17, 1990. It expanded its services by acquiring Gold River Savings Bank located in Fair Oaks, California, on September 27, 1991. The bank adjusted its trust powers to full status on December 31, 1989. On December 16, 1996, the main office was relocated to 4040 El Dorado Road in Placerville, California. Subsequently, on June 14, 2001, it changed its name to El Dorado Savings Bank, F.S.B., and its chartering agency to the Office of Thrift Supervision.
