History Of Eastwood Bank

Eastwood Bank was established on July 15, 1903, under the name First State Bank of Dover. Over the decades, the institution underwent several name changes and expansions. In 1985, it was renamed First State Bank of St. Charles, and the main office was relocated to 748 Whitewater Avenue in St. Charles, Minnesota. The following year, the name was changed to Eastwood Bank St. Charles, and in 1987, the bank acquired First State Bank of Rollingstone. The bank further expanded in 1990 when it acquired Eastwood Bank in Eyota, Minnesota, and adopted the name Eastwood Bank. Notable milestones included the acquisition of Eastwood Bank Elgin in 1992 and Fortress Bank Minnesota in Houston, Minnesota, in 2007. The bank also changed its trust powers to limited in March 2000 and moved its main office to 109 South Mantorville Avenue in Kasson, Minnesota, in October 1999. In November 2012, the main office was relocated again to 45 28th Street SE in Rochester, Minnesota.
