EAGLE.bank, originally established as the Price Hill Eagle Loan and Building Company No. 1 in 1882, underwent several transformations throughout its history. The institution was renamed Price Hill Eagle Loan and Building Co. in 1990 and later became Price Hill Eagle Loan and Building Co. in the same year. In 1996, the name was changed to Eagle Savings Bank. The primary federal regulatory agency changed to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in 2011. EAGLE.bank's organization type shifted to Stock Savings & Loan in 2017 and then to Commercial Bank on April 23, 2021, at which point it also changed to a state-chartered bank, opting out of membership in the Federal Reserve System.
