Dieterich Bank is a financial institution established on January 1, 1909, originally named The First National Bank of Dieterich. Over the years, the bank has undergone several name changes and regulatory adjustments. On December 18, 1969, the main office relocated to West Section Street in Dieterich, Illinois. It later moved to 101 South Main Street, Dieterich, Illinois, on February 18, 1986. In 2012, Dieterich Bank expanded its operations by acquiring the First State Bank of Red Bud, located in Red Bud, Illinois. The bank underwent significant changes on June 25, 2018, when it officially changed its name to Dieterich Bank, altered its chartering agency to the state level, and became a member of the Federal Reserve System. Following these changes, the primary federal regulatory agency was designated as the Federal Reserve.
