Diamond Bank is a financial institution that was originally established as Pike County Bank on December 16, 1904. Over the years, the bank underwent several name changes and redefinitions. It became known as Diamond State Bank on August 20, 1996. In the following years, the bank relocated its main office within Murfreesboro, Arkansas, first to 305 East Main Street on July 2, 1979, and then to 319 East Main Street on July 31, 1979. The institution further evolved when it changed its name to Diamond Bank on March 14, 2007, and acquired Arkansas Diamond Bank located in Glenwood, Arkansas, just days earlier on March 9, 2007. On December 11, 2013, Diamond Bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve System, reclassified itself as a state-chartered bank, and officially became a member of the Federal Reserve System.
