Deutsche Bank is a global investment bank and financial services company that traces its origins back to March 30, 1903, when it was established as the Bankers Trust Company. The institution grew over the years and, on October 29, 1976, it acquired Bankers Trust of Suffolk, National Association in Patchogue, New York. In 2000, the main office moved to One Bankers Trust Plaza in New York City, and subsequently, on April 15, 2002, the institution changed its name to Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas.
