Delta Bank was established on July 2, 1973, under the name Delta National Bank. In 1974, the institution changed its name to Delta National Bank, reflecting its focus on community banking. The main office was relocated to 611 North Main Street in Manteca, California, on May 2, 1977. On August 23, 2007, the bank rebranded itself as Delta Bank, National Association. However, this name change was short-lived, as Delta Bank merged with Farmers & Merchants Bank of Central California, a financial institution based in Lodi, California, on November 19, 2016, effectively ceasing the independent operations of Delta Bank.
