History Of Dearborn Savings Bank
Dearborn Savings Bank was established in 1891 as Dearborn Savings Association. Over the years, it underwent several name changes and organizational restructuring. In 1988, it became known as Dearborn Savings Federal Association and shifted its chartering agency to the Office of Thrift Supervision. A significant transformation occurred in 1993 when the institution changed its name to Dearborn Savings Association, F.A., and reorganized as a stock savings and loan. On June 26, 2007, the bank relocated its main office to 595 West Eads Parkway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and adopted the name Dearborn Savings Bank. Transitioning to be federally regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in July 2011 reflected further evolution in its governance. Ultimately, on May 18, 2020, Dearborn Savings Bank merged with and became part of FCN Bank, National Association, located in Brookville, Indiana.
