Dakota Community Bank & Trust, National Association, is a financial institution that was established on January 1, 1940, originally named Security Bank of Hebron. The bank underwent significant changes in its history, including a name change to Dakota Community Bank on April 11, 1997, following the acquisition of Dakota Community Bank in Dickinson, North Dakota. On April 10, 1990, the bank's main office was relocated to 609 Main Street in Hebron, North Dakota. On July 1, 2005, the institution transitioned to a national bank, becoming a member of the Federal Reserve System, and simultaneously changed its primary federal regulatory agency and chartering agency to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. The institution later expanded its trust services to full powers on March 14, 2011, and subsequently changed its name to Dakota Community Bank & Trust, National Association, on March 15, 2011.
