Cullman Savings Bank, established on January 1, 1937, was originally named Cullman Savings and Loan Association. The institution underwent several significant changes over the years, including a change in its organization type to a Mutual Savings Bank on July 1, 1994. On the same day, it also altered its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) and officially adopted the name Cullman Savings Bank.
