History Of Cowboy Bank
Cowboy Bank is a financial institution that was established on May 1, 1900, under the original name The Bank of Kremlin. Over the years, it has undergone several name changes and relocations. On March 21, 1994, the bank acquired First State Bank of Goltry in Goltry, Oklahoma, and shortly thereafter, on January 25, 1994, it moved its main office to 102 Sixth Street, Kremlin, Oklahoma. The bank continued to expand by acquiring the Bank of Drummond in Drummond, Oklahoma, on November 9, 1998. On May 28, 1999, it became a member of the Federal Reserve System and changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve. The bank's main office was relocated again on March 1, 2000, to the same address in Kremlin. After a lengthy history of growth and restructuring, the institution changed its name to Cowboy Bank on February 12, 2024.
