Country Trust Bank is a financial institution that was established on May 1, 2000, originally under the name Country Trust Bank. On the same day, it acquired Iaa Trust Company located in Bloomington, Illinois. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes, including a name change on May 1, 2000. On October 28, 2002, the main office was relocated to 1705 North Towanda Avenue, Bloomington, Illinois. This location remained until August 29, 2021, when it moved to a new office at 1705 Towanda Avenue, still in Bloomington. On July 8, 2022, Country Trust Bank became a member of the Federal Reserve System and changed its organizational type to a Trust Company Covered Savings Association. Subsequently, on July 20, 2022, the institution adopted its current name, Country Trust Bank. As of December 7, 2022, the main office was relocated to 1711 General Electric Road, Bloomington, Illinois.
