History Of Country Club Bank
Country Club Bank, originally established as North Kansas City State Bank on December 2, 1905, underwent a series of name changes and acquisitions throughout its history. In 1983, it was renamed Norbank. A significant transformation occurred in 2009 when the bank changed its name to Country Club Bank and moved its main office to 414 Nichols Road in Kansas City, Missouri. This year also marked its entry into the Federal Reserve System, with a change to a state-chartered bank. The bank continued to expand through acquisitions, including the purchase of Country Club Bank, National Association in Shawnee, Kansas, and the acquisition of MidAmerican Bank and Trust Company, National Association and Allen Bank and Trust Company, both in November of 2009. Following these transactions, the main office moved again in 2013 to One Ward Parkway, Kansas City, Missouri. In April 2020, Country Club Bank acquired Bank of the Prairie in Olathe, Kansas, and more recently, on December 31, 2021, it acquired Country Club Trust Company, National Association in Kansas City, Missouri.
