HISTORY OF CONNECT BANK
Connect Bank, originally established as the Bank of Star City on April 7, 1925, is a financial institution located in Star City, Arkansas. The bank underwent several significant changes in its regulatory status and naming over the years. On April 24, 1990, the main office was relocated to Jefferson Street in Star City. Subsequently, on February 18, 1997, the main office was moved again to 116 North Lincoln in Star City. The bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve System on September 7, 2011, and subsequently became a member of the Federal Reserve System on the same date. On that day, the bank also changed its classification to a state-chartered bank. The institution officially adopted the name Connect Bank on March 25, 2019.
