Conestoga Bank

Conestoga Bank was established on July 22, 1987, under the name First Bank of Philadelphia. The institution underwent several changes over the years, including a name change to First Penn Bank on October 13, 1999, and a move of its main office to 11 Penn Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on the same day. The bank continued to expand through acquisitions, including Iga Federal Savings in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, on July 4, 2001, and Pennsylvania Savings Bank in Philadelphia on the same date as its name change. On May 12, 2007, Conestoga Bank was acquired and rebranded after the acquisition, with its main office relocated to 165 Pottstown Pike, Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. The bank later merged with Beneficial Bank on April 15, 2016, before being absorbed by Wilmington Savings Fund Society on March 1, 2019.
