History Of Community Trust Bank

Community Trust Bank was established on January 1, 1934, as a financial institution focused on providing banking services to its community. Throughout its history, the bank underwent several changes in its operational structure and location. On December 30, 1989, the main office of Community Trust Bank was relocated to Main Street in Irvington, Illinois. The bank further moved its main office again on March 31, 2006, to 107 South 2nd Street, also in Irvington, Illinois. In a significant change, on October 24, 1974, Community Trust Bank altered its trust powers to limited status. The institution ultimately merged and became part of The Bradford National Bank of Greenville, Illinois, on January 31, 2023, marking the end of its independent operations.
