Community State Bank

Community State Bank was established on December 15, 1941, originally operating under the name Community State Bank of St. Charles. Over the decades, the institution underwent several significant changes. On December 11, 1978, it officially changed its name to Community State Bank of St. Charles. In a further development, on December 1, 2007, the bank adopted the name Community State Bank and relocated its main office to 207 South Saginaw Street in Saint Charles, Michigan. That same day, the bank also acquired The Montrose State Bank located in Montrose, Michigan. The institution continued to operate until December 31, 2016, when it merged with The State Bank based in Fenton, Michigan, marking the end of Community State Bank as an independent entity.
