History Of Community Guaranty Savings Bank

Community Guaranty Savings Bank was established on May 23, 1988, originally operating under its founding name. Over the years, the bank underwent several notable changes; on June 7, 1989, it increased its trust powers to full. On November 15, 2002, the institution changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve and simultaneously altered its organization type to a stock savings bank. That same day, Community Guaranty Savings Bank became a state-chartered bank and became a member of the Federal Reserve System. The bank continued its operations until May 6, 2016, when it merged with and became part of Bank of New Hampshire, headquartered in Laconia, New Hampshire.
