Community Bank, originally established as the Bank of Wallowa County on June 1, 1955, underwent several name changes and relocations throughout its history. On February 13, 1976, the institution changed its name to Bank of Wallowa County. The bank's main office first moved to Main and Alder Streets in Joseph, Oregon, on April 11, 1983. Subsequently, on July 1, 1995, it was relocated to 403 North Main Street in Joseph, Oregon. The name was changed to Community Bank on April 10, 1997.
