Over the years, the bank underwent several significant transformations, including a name change to Community Bank and Trust on February 12, 1993. This change coincided with the acquisition of two banks: The Citizens' State Bank of Granby in Granby, Missouri, and The Anderson State Bank in Anderson, Missouri. Community Bank and Trust continued its expansion in the subsequent years by acquiring several other banks, including the State Bank of Seneca in Seneca, Missouri, on May 19, 1995; Diamond Bank in Diamond, Missouri, on April 18, 1997; and Citizens State Bank in Galena, Kansas, on September 5, 1997.
