History Of Commercial Bank
Commercial Bank is a financial institution based in Parsons, Kansas, with a history dating back to its establishment on May 30, 1874, under the original name Parsons Commercial Bank. The bank underwent a series of significant developments over the decades, including acquiring several other banks. Notably, on September 24, 1985, it acquired The State Bank of Parsons, followed by the acquisition of First National Bank at Oswego on May 18, 1989. In 1990, the bank expanded further by acquiring both Peoples Savings and Loan Association and Mid-America Federal Savings and Loan Association on May 4 of that year. Subsequently, on August 28, 1990, the institution changed its name to Commercial Bank. The bank relocated its main office to 1901 Main Street, Parsons, Kansas, on June 21, 1991.
