Commercial Bank and Trust of Pennsylvania is a financial institution with a history that dates back to its establishment on May 4, 1934, as The Commercial National Bank of Latrobe. In 1963, the bank changed its name to Commercial National Bank of Westmoreland County, and later on October 1, 1999, it adopted the name Commercial National Bank of Pennsylvania. Significant changes continued in the early 2000s; on July 21, 2003, the bank rebranded as Commercial Bank of Pennsylvania, transitioned to a state-chartered bank, and withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System. On December 31, 2004, the institution further changed its name to Commercial Bank and Trust of Pennsylvania and acquired Highview Trust Company in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
