The Commerce Bank facility is accused of misappropriating funds from the elderly. Numerous efforts have been exerted to persuade the bank to disclose transaction details regarding unaccounted funds from my mother's account, yet everyone from her personal banker to the branch manager has failed to provide the detailed transaction statement necessary to trace the missing money. Consumers are advised not to trust this bank due to allegations of theft from elderly clients.
My mother has two very large accounts at this Bank and we went twice in the last week to get cash out. It seemed like it took forever, and both times they just sent our money to us in the Drive-Thru without even saying thank you. I don't know who is training these people, but that's just common courtesy. Especially when you have a large account with them.
What is the $3.00 service charge i see on my account every month?
I have never been treated by anyone at your bank unprofessional or unhelpful. I experienced that today. The associate sat of right front desk with dark chin length hair with navy top n jeans. She made me feel like I was an unwelcome caller as well as an unwelcome customer. She made me feel like I was lying, stupid uninformed and like I had never came into the bank before and saw a associate that took care of my problem. I did not know it was by Appt only when I made call. No sign that says that on front door or I missed it. At the very beginning onset I was revived on phone with a very hateful voice and she was upset someone be had called and woke her up!
She did d allow me into the bank but said she could only see me for 10 minutes. I understood that. I had a user name and password issues on my Commerce credits t card. I had talked with 2 ladies and they told me I needed to bring my issues up with my branch bank. So that was why I was there. I experienced the same issue before and was helped by someone at your bank Barry Road, KCMO. Today I felt like I was an unwelcome, lying and stupid person that was not even a customer and how dare I bother her today!
When I left after less than 5 minuted I told your associate that her voice sounded hateful as soon as she answered the phone. I told her about it and she said "Thank you, I really appreciate that I told her" I told her I thought some constructive criticism. She was snotty for the whole time I was with her, even out the door. Not even a I'm sorry she was unable to help me to day!!
Never, Never Never have I been treated this way from a Commerce associate.

After 16 years of being a loyal customer here, I suddenly got the cold shoulder from one of their FSR's who'd always treated me in a friendly manner. Based on their low rates on savings accounts I was considering going elsewhere. After the reception I got from the FSR yesterday, Don't get me wrong, overall their customer service is great, Deb and their younger employees are the nicest. Once I receive my tax refund I'm taking my busniess to another bank, won't be back and definitely won't refer anyone to that branch.
How do you sleep at night by charging hidden fees on a senior citizens who live on Social Security. Paper Fees, transfers fees. Shame on you. God knows
