To date, $50,000 has been taken out of my CD and I am getting nowhere in my efforts to have it returned to me. Next stop, the FBI, FDIC and several other legal pursuits. They keep mailing me the same forms to fill out. This bank should be televised on the TV show, "American Greed."

I've had the misfortune of experiencing Comenity Capital Bank's operations firsthand, and I am deeply concerned about their approach towards customers. At the outset, their promotional offers, particularly with the Payboo Card, seem attractive with promises of zero interest. However, the devil, as they say, is in the details.

Deceptive Promotions: The bank's promotional terms can only be described as predatory. The promise of "zero interest" is heavily contingent on nuances that the average consumer might overlook. In my case, a small outstanding balance led to an inordinately high interest charge, suggesting a clear intent to capitalize on unsuspecting customers.

Absence of Communication: One would expect a bank to maintain open channels of communication, especially when financial penalties are at stake. Yet, Comenity failed to send any reminders, be it through emails, texts, or phone calls, about impending charges. This lack of communication only reinforces the perception that they operate in shadows and are banking (pun unintended) on consumer oversight.

Public Sentiments Echo My Concerns: A brief search online led me to the Better Business Bureau's page on Comenity Capital Bank. The numerous complaints there echo similar sentiments of deception, lack of communication, and unreasonably high charges.

In the vast financial landscape, where consumer trust is paramount, Comenity Capital Bank's operations stand out - and not in a good way. Potential customers should be wary and do their due diligence before getting involved with this institution. Financial decisions, even seemingly small ones, can have far-reaching implications. As for me, I'll be looking elsewhere for my financial needs in the future.

If there was a negative star, I would give it to this business.

This bank card had lost a payment and did not notify me for 3 months that they didn't have it. I did not ever request paperless billing. (wondered why I had not ever received bills). I began paying late fees and interest while trying to communicate with them. In the meantime they crushed my perfect credit score. They must really be in need of money to screw over new customers. I've never experienced a credit card/bank like this. It's so odd they can get away with this. I have spent endless mornings on hold and have communicated with my bank to reassure them that they did send this payment. So they lost it I guess. But they do not want to work with me the customer at all. Very bizarre. Wouldn't be surprised if there's not a lawsuit against them in the near future.

I am a new member through AAA Advantage. I registered my new card and looked up the balance. Unfortunately I thought I had everything I needed and logged off. After checking what I downloaded from your site and the balance you say I owe, there is a huge discrepamcy. I tried to log back on, and I got a message that I need a Request Code because you did not recognize my computer. It also said there is no moblile # or email address. I do have a mobile phone and I entered my email address when I registered. All it gave me were 2 phone numbers to call. I called both numbers and got the same computer BS . After the 3rd try I finally got a women who I could barely herar and could barely speak English. She checked my problem and told me there was no problem and she could not give me a Request Code and hung up. I called the other number again and after 12 minutes of listening to a computer give me BS, I was transferred and then disconnected. How about you contact me!! I will not give any BS and if my problem is not solved, I will request a refund from AAA and send back your credit card. To say at this point "i'm pissed off" is a gross understatement.

Because you changed your Debit Description from "COMENITY PAY BH WEB PYMT" to "COMN CAP APY F1" on my checking statement and did not include a reference phone number, I called my bank. They put me through to claim a fraudulent trans. When they identified your bank I said I did recognize the debit. They reversed it anyway. They cannot re-reverse it so I've been trying to re-make the payment. I cannot do that on line because it thinks there is something wrong with my bank information. I cannot do that by phone because I have tried to contact customer service AT LEAST 3 times and been disconnected after having been on hold for over 30 min. I would like to know that this is being taken care of without any blemish or charges/fees assessed. Thank you. (610) 688-7733 or mrspatbradley@gmail.com

I am writing this letter to submit a formal complaint on a supervisor I spoke today, July 27th at 11:33am (EST).

I called (877-) 210-9412 to speak with someone about my Ulta Rewards credit card account and I ended up having to be transferred to a supervisor. The supervisor I spoke with was EXTREMELY rude and I am honestly speechless that the call was handled the way it was. I asked this lady what her name was in which she responded with "Mrs. Perez" I then asked for her first name and she proceeded to tell me that she doesn't have a first name. I asked her for her employee ID # and she told me she doesn't have that either. I asked her what else I could use to identify her and she again advised me, "Mrs. Perez."

I asked to speak with her manager and she told me that she didn't have one. I know that is not true, as everyone has a manager. She then later indirectly admitted that she does have a manager but that I am not able to speak with "that person."

I originally called in about a late fee that was supposed to be removed from my account after me paying off my balance on May 26th, 2022. The late fee was not ever removed and therefore I received another late fee on top of the first late fee. I was just calling to see about getting that removed and had to unfortunately deal with this awful supervisor.

She kept talking over me, kept repeating herself, her responses to me were SO UNPROFESSIONAL and she hung up on me!!!!! I have never talked to someone who was as rude as her, especially a SUPERVISOR who works in customer service!!!! I myself have worked in a customer service call center for 11 years so I know firsthand that this behavior is NEVER acceptable. I am so disappointed in Ulta Rewards credit card center that I will be closing my account so I never have to be treated with such disrespect again. I have never in my life written a formal complaint to any company, so that should tell you how rude and unprofessional this supervisor is treating Ulta's customers. I am sure I am not the first person she has treated this way nor will I be the last.

I am cancelling every Comenity card I have. That's 3. second month in a row their system errors have knocked me off of the auto pay. The first time they accused me of going off the autopay myself. No. Tried to charge me a late fee. Which I fought and won. Now this month June their systems are screwed up again. They didn't take my autopay again due to system issues kicking me off auto pay again. These people answering the phone have zero clue because they are in a foreign country. I'm done stay away from their cards. Nothing but a hassle.

Branch review: Head Office Branch

I have been scammed, Cominity Bank services David's Bridal and I set payment arrangements for Cominty bank to debit from account on the 2nd of in each month, I gave them a routing number for my personal checking account from another institution, as well as my account info. I thought I paid that account off, I have bank records showing each payment that had been made up until Febraury 2020.. To my surprise, I have received a collection notice in the mail stating that last payment was made October 2019 and the notice came with a threat, they are going to sue me if payment is not made immediately. I choose to contact Matt Gephart from KSL news in Salt Lake City Utah to relsove my problem me!

Whatever you do, STAY AWAY fro. Comenity. Their customer service is nonexistent unless you count a plethora of rudeness. I will never use them again and will make sure that everyone I know on social media spreads the word. Go to any other bank. Comenity = Filth.

I would have given zero stars if it were an option, but one star was the lowest possinle score.
