CNB St. Louis Bank, originally established as The Citizens National Bank of Maplewood in 1915, underwent several name changes and regulatory transitions throughout its history. On December 31, 1965, the institution was renamed Citizens National Bank of Greater St. Louis. On October 13, 2020, the bank withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System, subsequently changing its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and altering its classification to a state-chartered bank no longer under the Federal Reserve System.
