History Of CLB The Community Bank
CLB The Community Bank, originally established as Harrisonburg-Catahoula State Bank on October 5, 1907, has undergone several changes throughout its history. On April 1, 1935, the institution changed its name to Catahoula Bank. The bank later relocated its main office to Main Street in Jonesville, Louisiana, on November 1, 1965, and subsequently changed its trust powers to limited on July 30, 1975. The name was altered once again to Catahoula - LaSalle Bank on January 28, 1992. On December 30, 1989, the main office moved to 301 Mound Street, Jonesville, Louisiana. The trust powers were changed to none on January 31, 2001. A significant acquisition occurred when the bank acquired the Bank of Jena on November 17, 2014. Ultimately, on December 2, 2019, the institution rebranded itself as CLB The Community Bank, marking its most recent name change.
