Clay County Savings Bank has its origins dating back to January 1, 1922, when it was established as the Clay County Savings and Loan Association. Over the years, the institution underwent several significant changes, reflecting its evolving regulatory framework and organizational structure. In 2003, the bank rebranded as Clay County Savings Bank and transitioned its organization type to a stock savings bank. The following years saw the bank move its main office to 1178 West Kansas Street in Liberty, Missouri, on March 15, 2007.
