City National Bank was established on April 1, 1957, under the name The City National Bank of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia. Over the decades, the institution expanded its operations through numerous acquisitions, significantly increasing its footprint in West Virginia and Kentucky. Notable acquisitions include the Peoples National Bank in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and the First State Bank and Trust in Rainelle, both completed on December 22, 1997. In 1998, the bank rebranded as City National Bank of West Virginia. Key acquisitions in the 1990s included several banks across West Virginia, such as the Bank of Raleigh and The Twentieth Street Bank in 1999. The 2000s saw further growth, including the acquisition of Virginia Savings Bank in Front Royal, Virginia, in 2012. I just watched a video where an employee at this bank was very obscene to a camerman she saw outside your bank. I do not believe this is someone that reflects your business in a positive manner. I would suggest you make some changes, and train your staff accordingly.... Read more
