Citizens Tri-County Bank is a financial institution that was established on October 2, 1972, originally operating under the name Citizens Bank of Dunlap. Over the years, the bank underwent several name changes, becoming Citizens Bank of Dunlap on May 31, 1977, and later changing its name to Citizens Bank of Dunlap and Pikeville on September 17, 1984. On May 18, 1984, the bank acquired Bledsoe County Bank located in Pikeville, Tennessee. In July 1992, it officially became known as Citizens Tri-County Bank. The bank expanded its operations through acquisitions, including the First National Bank of Tullahoma on August 26, 2006, and Citizens Bank of Spencer, Tennessee, on July 18, 2011. On August 27, 2016, Citizens Tri-County Bank further solidified its presence by acquiring Franklin County United Bank in Decherd, Tennessee. Additionally, on August 26, 2006, the bank relocated its main office to 15699 Rankin Avenue in Dunlap, Tennessee. The bank also adjusted its trust powers to limited status on September 7, 1994.
