Citizens Savings Bank

Citizens Savings Bank was established on June 27, 1927, originally serving the financial needs of its local community. Over the decades, the bank underwent several changes in location, moving its main office to different addresses in Hawkeye, Iowa; notably on December 30, 1989, and later on December 9, 1991, when it relocated to 133 East Main Street, Hawkeye, Iowa 52147. In 1976, Citizens Savings Bank expanded its services by acquiring full trust powers. On November 3, 2023, Citizens Savings Bank merged with Maynard Savings Bank, becoming part of the Maynard, Iowa banking community.
