Citizens Commerce Bank

Citizens Commerce Bank was established on November 12, 1996, originally operating under the name Citizens Commerce National Bank. Over the years, the institution underwent various changes, and on June 1, 2018, it officially changed its name to Citizens Commerce Bank. On the same date, it transitioned from being a member of the Federal Reserve System to a state-chartered bank, subsequently changing its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. On March 10, 2023, Citizens Commerce Bank merged with City National Bank of West Virginia, based in Charleston, West Virginia, resulting in its integration into the larger banking institution.
